plexDIA is PTI's framework for multiplexing proteomics. It analyzes many samples and many peptides simultaneously, so throughput scales with the number of labels rather than the number of mass spec runs. This parallelization across samples and peptides gives Parallel Squared Technology Institute (PTI) its name. plexDIA launched at 3-plex and has since scaled to 9-plex through new reagents like PSMtags and modeling software like JMod, currently capable of over 1,000 samples per day at 10-minute runs.
We are continuing to push plexDIA's depth and throughput, building the next generation of reagents and software to make large-scale, high-resolution proteomics a practical tool for studying disease.
